Agenda and Speakers: (read more about the speakers here)
Poster Session: We will hold a poster session in the afternoon that is open to anyone! This will not be your typical research conference poster session and we will accept a wide range of posters. We are inviting groups from many organizations, so your poster could be about your student organization and initiatives or events that have been a success with your group. Maybe you’ve had an internship, fellowship, or other experience in science policy already and would like to share that experience and what you accomplished. If you are in a policy degree program, share some research, initiatives, or other things you have been involved with. This is intended to be an exchange of ideas for an audience with a wide range of experiences in the science policy world! Group poster presentations are strongly encouraged. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top posters! Abstract submissions are due by October 2nd! Submit your abstract here!
Accommodations: Are you a student? We will connect you with student hosts who are willing to have you stay in their home in order to minimize costs for those traveling. If you are interested in staying with a student host, please fill out this form. (This does not guarantee that a host is available). A limited block of hotel rooms is reserved at the Courtyard by Marriott in Charlottesville under “JSF Science Policy” for a discounted rate of $189/night. First come, first serve!
